As a regular attendee of many now legendary hotspots, this Motor City native experienced the birth of Detroit’s audio subculture firsthand. Since then, his support and dedication

to electronic music as an urban art form has been relentless.

He has been working wax since the mid 80s and his energy

is truly something to witness. With his soul rooted far beneath the mainstream, he fuses multiple genres into unexpected creations. His passion for all music is an endless source of powerful arrangements delivered with complex originality.

Also an accomplished designer, an extensive list of performers and labels have welcomed his artistic calling. Projects have included works for Aaron-Carl, Mike Hukaby, Terrence Parker, Juan Atkins, Surgeon, Brian Gillespie, DEQ, NDR, Beretta Music, Throw Records, Visillusion, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Lumina, Pure Plastic and Wallshaker.

Under the moniker of "The Culture Dispatch" this list continues to grow. Main operations however, are handled through 100% independent record label Subject Detroit, where he serves as visual liaison as well as a performer. The extensive catalog of DJ Bone showcases many of Trench’s graphic contributions to the underground movement.
